I started Asplund Bookkeeping Company to give small business owners more than a bookkeeper. I want to be a partner who cares how your business is doing.
Before bookkeeping, I spent my career as an engineer. That work taught me to get the details right, build processes that hold up, and explain complicated numbers in plain terms. I bring those same habits to your books.
Today I help small businesses throughout the Albuquerque metro area, across New Mexico, and nationwide with monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, QuickBooks setup, and financial reporting. What should I have ready for our first call?
Nothing formal. It helps to have a rough idea of your monthly transactions, which bank and credit card accounts the business uses, and whether you already have QuickBooks. If you'd like a deeper look, recent bank statements or prior records are useful too.
What software do you work with?
I work in QuickBooks, the standard for small business bookkeeping. If you're not using it yet, QuickBooks setup is one of my core services, and I'll get you started the right way.
How far behind can my books be?
There's no such thing as too far behind. Whether you're a few months or a few years behind, catch-up bookkeeping will get everything reconciled and current.
Do you only work with businesses in New Mexico?
Rio Rancho is home base, and I work with businesses throughout Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Everything can also be handled remotely, so I serve clients nationwide.
